Hello, I'm Rachel

In our years of experience, we’ve collaborated with athletes from Washington, DC’s local teams, including the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, and Washington Commanders. Surprisingly, these athletes share similar needs with our everyday clients, which may not be immediately apparent.

Yet, what truly distinguishes our athlete clients is their potential for sudden relocations and frequent travel demands. As a result, they need functional systems that can adapt to their ever-changing lives and requirements.

Across from the chef’s kitchen is the pantry which we organized and categorized by type of food like snacks, breakfast, dinner, drinks etc. The goal here was to make game days and early mornings that much more efficient and easier.

We also organized several other rooms in the house. This included optimizing the mudroom complete with a designated space for coats and shoes, and a backstock area that is filled with extra household supplies like paper products for the first floor. We also had our handyman convert the front hall closet from a closet with shelves to a closet with hanging for coats. This closet is right near the front door so it made more sense to convert it for coats so that guests or our client can use it on a regular basis rather than having to walk to another, farther closet.

Other areas of importance were the primary closet, primary bathroom and linen closet in the primary suite. These are what we like to call “high touch” areas that are  utilized on a daily basis so we wanted to make sure they were properly organized and had functional systems in place. In the closet we created different dressing areas for things like suits for game days, sneakers, athletic gear and more. In the bathroom we categorized accessories by drawer and used products that are able to be easily cleaned. We also made sure the laundry room was functional (for all the practice and game day laundry!) and there was a spot for all his luggage that was needed when traveling.

We walked away from this project, taking great pride in the fact that we were able to create a highly organized living space with functional and adaptable systems. These systems will enable our client to live his demanding, fast-paced, high profile life without ever worrying about the logistics in his home.
