It is no secret that 2020 (and now 2021) are the years of Zoom. We have all spent more time than we would probably like to admit on Zoom these past 11 months. And if you are like me, you are tired of just another Zoom meeting and ready for a change!
I might not have the solution to bring you back into a conference room with bad coffee and stale donuts but I do have a way to liven up that next video meeting. I have been doing virtual speaking events, classes and seminars talking about everything from physical organization to how organization plays a role in your mental wellbeing. Of course, I miss speaking in front of live audiences (being a public speaker in the Washington DC area is one of my great passions) but the connection these virtual events have given me is priceless and I am hooked! And who doesn’t want to make their next Zoom meeting more fun and educational?
As with all areas from my blog to Instagram to working with clients, in these virtual events I focus on giving practical tips to make you and your team, family, colleagues or peers feel more organized and in control. The topics we can dive into are endless and can be customized for your group and specific situation. I have been honored to be a speaker for virtual meetings for a variety of groups on a variety of topics over the past several months. Here are just a few:
-
I spoke with a group of teachers on how to get organized for both virtual learning and in classroom learning.
-
I was a speaker for a corporate meeting and focused on organizing your home office and how it can help avoid procrastination.
-
I have done a Zoom speaking event with a group of moms and focused on how organization can help save money – from how organizing your pantry can help avoid trips to the grocery store to how meal planning is a game changer in streamlining your family’s routines.
-
I spoke with a group and focused on organization and mental wellbeing including the organizing of routines and digital space like email and calendar.
-
I even spoke to college students about organizing their spaces now that they are either still living at home or more contained to a dorm room.
There is nothing that I love more than spreading the benefits of organization and I am grateful that I have been able to continue to do this through virtual events during the pandemic.
Do you have a virtual event that you need a speaker for? I would appreciate you sharing my information and/or would love to chat with you! You can learn more about working with me here or can always shoot me an email at hello@rachelrosenthal.co.
