Decluttering is a practice that helps me refresh my surroundings and clear emotional baggage, setting […]

One of my favorite things to do for my clients is to design their closets. Recently, my team and I had the opportunity to design and organize multiple closets in our clients’ new home. Today I’m going to break down that process (with pictures!) and give you tips on how to organize your own closets. Below I go into detail a bit more about a master closet that we designed.

There is something about spring that inspires people to declutter and organize. But, like I always say, organizing is not a one time event but rather a way of life. Something I tell my clients is that a good rule to follow is at least once a year try to pull out and re-evaluate the items in each room of your home, and with spring quickly arriving what better time than now?

Happy New Year! I hope that you all are looking forward to everything that is to come in 2019. From resolutions, personal goals, business checklists, self care intentions, and more, the beginning of the new year is always a great time to start new. I have clients who have no problem donating or selling a household of their grandparents furniture, but they won’t budge on discarding an old college sweatshirt in their storage unit (even if they forgot that they had it in the first place!). I see, hear, and am witness to a lot of people’s personal items, which includes the sentimental items that are near and dear to their hearts. I think that there is a misconception that getting organized equates to…

Like many of you, I wear many of hats throughout a day. Between being a mom, running a full-time business and managing my team, plus keeping my house and personal well-being in check it feels like there never is enough time. We are always searching for time to add to our day. Clients always tell me that if they had more time they could do XYZ and I get it. I know that I can’t change how many hours are in a day but I can change what I do in the environment where I spend my days. There are things that I can do throughout the day and week that can get me–and you, too–more in control so that when the kids get home and I lay my head down on the pillow, my mind isn’t full of any clutter due to the physical clutter around me.
