PROJECT MANAGER | (PART TIME)
We are looking for a Project Manager to work at Rachel and Company, a professional organizing firm based in the Washington, DC area. Rachel and Company specialize in professional organizing, closet design and client moves. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to live more organized lives. The Project Manager position will manage client organization projects from start to finish as well assist with daily administration of Rachel and Company and client projects.
Rachel and Company is one of the top professional organizing firms in the Washington, DC area and has worked with 3000+ clients. The owner, Rachel Rosenthal, has teamed up with prominent brands, including West Elm, Pottery Barn, The Container Store, and Four Seasons. Rachel is also a TODAY Parenting Contributor and her organizing tips and expertise has been seen by millions and in 100+ publications, including Real Simple, Martha Stewart, House Beautiful, The Rachael Ray Show, and local NBC, ABC, and Fox morning shows. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage client organization projects from initial walkthrough phase through product sourcing, client/vendor communication and oversight, and completion of project

Execute other duties related to the daily administration of the client projects

JOB DETAILS:

Competitive salary

The position is part time but will start with a trial period.

Hours are 9:00 AM-5PM availability Monday-Friday, with the expectation that some days will start earlier or run later.
WHAT’S REQUIRED

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be professional in appearance and conduct

Must be able to problem-solve independently under pressure

Must be able to manage several tasks and priorities at the same time with similar deadlines

Must have a strong interest in organizing and design*

Must have a computer and cell phone

Must have a car, auto insurance, and be able to work in the DC Metro area

Must have medical insurance

Must have consistent weekday availability

Must be self-motivated and eager to learn

Must be energetic, punctual, and have excellent attention to detail

Must be a hard worker with and interest in growing the company and investing in themselves
EXTRA CREDIT

Experience in a management role, preferably in a retail or customer-facing setting
SOCIAL MEDIA ASSOCIATE – JUNIOR ASSOCIATE (PART TIME – REMOTE OR DC BASED)
We are looking for a Social Media Associate to work at Rachel and Company, a professional organizing firm based in the Washington, DC area. Rachel and Company specialize in professional organizing, closet design and client moves. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to live more organized lives. The Social Media Associate position is a remote position (can of course live in the DC area).

JOB DETAILS
The role of the social media associate includes:

Assisting with the content creation and management of social media accounts
-
Developing and implementing marketing strategies for our social media sites
-
Managing regular posts and responding to followers
-
Assisting to create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
-
Collaborating with others on our team to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
-
Assisting with brand collaborations and other partnerships through social media
-
Generating, editing, publishing and sharing daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE:

Current College (or Grad school) student
-
Commitment, reliability, and a hardworking, positive “can do” attitude

Strong self-motivation and excellent attention to detail

Experience with social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) required
-
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
-
Detail oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
-
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
THE COMMITMENT
The position is paid and part-time, ranging from 10-15 hours per week, with the possibility for more hours based on Rachel and Company’s workload and the associate’s performance. Consistent availability during the week is required.
